We are looking for a full-time Manager, Regulatory Content Production for our regulatory compliance management solution, RegHub.  RegHub helps companies identify applicable obligations and track for new and emerging requirements as laws and regulations change over time.  Companies from a wide range of industries and geographies use RegHub to establish sophisticated compliance management programs consistent with ISO management system standards.  The product includes a full text library of laws and regulations from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico plus tools to build registers and track changes.  RegHub also integrates with several of the leading EHS software platforms.  The Regulatory Content Specialist will work as part of the Regulatory Content Team, who has implemented the Product from conception, to process content from our different authoring sources and publish the content to our RegHub.  

The successful candidate will possess a strong knowledge of both regulatory and legislative processes and technology solutions to manage and publish regulatory information, including tracking changes over time.  Experience with regulatory tracking and publishing programs, compliance management software and/or legal research tools is necessary to succeed in this role.  As this is a senior-level role, the person must possess excellent management skills, as well as being extremely organized and efficient.  This position requires the ability to multi-task and work well under time constraints with competing priorities.  


Here’s what you will do on a daily basis:

  • Review and process full text regulatory content for initial development and subsequent updates of STP’s full text regulatory library for the U.S., Canada and Mexico, as well as regulatory change notifications for multiple jurisdictions.  The content comes from different authoring sources in different formats and must be converted into XML, reviewed and published to our application.
  • Analyze and document requirements for content workflows and data structure 
  • Work in close partnership with the Regulatory Product Owner, the Regulatory Tech Lead, and the Regulatory Content Team to ensure that content is reviewed, processed and published according to target publication timelines.  
  • Support the product and sales teams by conducting regulatory research to support the product team and clients to prioritize the addition of new content and advising the content team how to manage special regulatory use cases.
  • Review regulatory content scope across STP products to ensure the scope of coverage is consistent across STP products and aligns with current client expectations
  • Manage communication with external content authors (content data is both supplied by external vendors as well as developed in-house) for review and rectification and to ensure deliveries confirm to STP requirements.
  • Participate as needed in software functionality testing and refinement to:
  • Review and refine requirements for software functionality enhancements and bug fixes and help design systems to integrate data into existing platform content and functionality.
  • Ensure coordination of content structure and functionality for all the content collections.
  • Assist with product frontend testing and bug reporting.


Here’s the type of person we are looking for:

  • Minimum five years experience working with a regulatory or legislative information system, preferably dealing with EHS or Sustainability subject matter.
  • Deep understanding of legislative and regulatory processes at the substantive and technical level.  You must understand how the regulatory processes works and be able to translate those processes into technical data requirements.
  • Experience managing a team of professionals, remote or hybrid work environment with the team spread across multiple locations.
  • This person must have experience producing and editing XML documents according to document schema, including modifications to document structure and attributes, preferably with Oxygen XML Editor.
  • Experience resolving data manipulation issues, using tools such as Excel, Microsoft Access (including VBA scripting), xml/xslt, DITA, advanced Word, etc. 
  • World class attention to detail and organizational skills are ESSENTIAL, with the ability to oversee and prioritize multiple simultaneous workflows.
  • Clear and consistent communication style.
  • Commitment to deadlines and timelines.
  • Experience with tools/applications is important, but even more important is the willingness to think creatively and develop additional skills.


Nice to Haves:

  • Experience reviewing document metadata in SQL or Access database, and have the ability to develop basic queries.
  • Experience integrating regulatory content with 3 rd party software platforms
  • Experience working in a commercial content management system (CMS)
  • Experience working in Azure DevOps
